In university, I didn't have much trouble finding music camps to work at, but that's because I enjoyed researching the various options. Those who didn't rarely found good learning opportunities for the summer. That's when I decided to put my bookmarks and notes online, which eventually become the "Summer Opportunities Database,"

It's interactive directory of Music Camps/Festivals around the world (mostly US though). I built it using an open map which could be fed an excel of geolcations. In addition to the directory, I sent out surveys to former camp attendees and had them rate camps (markers in orange have reviews), similar to a yelp model.

A common question from potential customers would be asking for past case studies. We didn't have a centralized, organized, or presentable way to show them, so we decided to build an online database we could send through email

Potential brand customers wanting to use our marketing platform often times asked who are users were, what type of reach they had, and if they could see more information about them. That's when we decided to build a small online database with a small but representative sample of our entire userbase.

As part of each marketing campaign, my company always tried to have targetted landing pages for each customer persona.

This page was for a Linkedin outreach campaign we did, which was aimed at brand managers and aimed to show them the recent expansion across Southeast Asia.

For each new market Launchpilots launched in, we built localized landing pages

These landing pages all had similar structure. For the language, we found freelancers online which translated the websites into Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian Bahasa, Malaysian Bahasa, Japanese, Korea, and Mandarin Chinese.

After talking to many EdTech enthusiasts in Shanghai who were always seeking more data-enriched resources, yet couldn't find any, I decided to go to the source and see what kind of data I could pull from the China government's own education website.

They had data from 1949-present on over 1000 different points, but the data were displayed as images. I then ran the images through an OCR, which I could then output into an excel.

I then used tableau to visualize some major trends, and later on will begin use D3.js to make more custom data visualizations to seek further insights.

During my time as a research assistant with the University of Hong Kong, one of the projects I worked on was consolidating all of our learning into a digestable format. My professor and I decided to use an online resource database to accomplish this.

Shortly after meeting the founder of RisingVietnam, I was invited to join the advisory board.

Through this role, I regularly stay updated on Vietnam's NGO, social enterprise, and tech scene to identify possible partnerships or market opportunities for RisingVietnam to capitlize on.

A my band received more inquiries asking for info about our band, we decided to create a website.

The website also helped us to consolidate our media (photos, videos, social media accounts) into one centralized place.

The client had approached me, wanting to help with a long-form landing page which could talke more about her E-book and eventually sell it.

The project was roughly 20 hours and the client was very satisfied at the end. She ended up referring me to another client.

The client was launching a coaching firm and wanted to build a website which would drive enquiries, through one hour free consulations.

The client had some initial pages, so I primarily consulted on the final website layout, the ideal user journey as a funnel to signing up for a consultation, and design details which would make the website stand out.

Organized as the flagship initiative of AIESEC Hong Kong, my team was tasked with organizing a youth conference on environment sustainability.

We signed partners, such as Bank of China, MTR, Kadoorie Farm, Youth Square, and 10 others.

I was the project advisor, which lead the team on curriculum design, conference logistics, and matters related to external stakeholder management.

For meetings with potential clients, one of the main aspects was showcasing our extensive userbase in a more impressive, yet easily digestable way.

My team decided to build a visualized version of our user base which we could demostrate during the meeting, as well as allow clients to play around with in their own time.

I was tasked with building the tool, using a 3rd-party data visualization tool ran on D3.js. I handled the data management and product roadmap for the project.

As a free tool to our brand user base, I built a tool which showcased the week's most engaged facebook posts, seperated by various industries.

This was received with positive feedback from clients, added value to our current marketing campaigns, as well as motivated pending clients to sign up as partner as they saw that we cared about their success, by building free tools for them.

Out of several candidates, I was chosen and invited to be the keynote speaker of the largest non-governmental youth conference in Russia

Topics I spoke upon were related to management theory, cultural understanding, and business analysis frameworks.

Was invited to be the moderator of a panel on entrepreneurship, featuring the Wong Fu Productions team. The event had 800+ attendees.

Invited to be the keynote speaker at an event called 'Youth to Business,' which showcased speakers and workshops from the United Nations, DHL, PwC, UBS, and 10+ other corporate partners.

Topics included principles of leadership, how to manage change, and the future pace of business in the 21st century.

This platform was for an existing NGO which was currently organizing offline workshops to teach people about 3D printing, by having them assemble 3D printed prosthetics for children across China.

The platform aimed to scale up their current impact, and also replicate the same concept of 'using tech for social good' across other issues, such as using Microsoft's computer vision technology to identify missing children in China, or AR for the visually-imparied.

This was created through a week long project to teach how Ruby on Rails works.

Teams were formed and we brainstormed ideas for an 'AirBnB of ____' idea. Since many team members were musicians, we agreed on a platform to book local bands in your city.

This rails app is a standard CRUD app, where you can sign-up/login, browse bands on an index page, see more details about a band on the band show page, use a form to enter dates and venue information for the band to see, then have the booking show up in your user dashboard. If you were both a user which booked bands and created bands to be booked, then your dashboard would show both.

For this project, I was the product manager, tasked with ensuring nobody was blocked on tasks, and at the end, giving a presentation of the platform.

Being someone who enjoys making to-do lists and takes great pleasure in checking each item off, I thought it'd be fun to have an engaging way to record your tasks for each day, as well as have an automated reward system that you don't need to think about.

This slack chat bot was made using API.ai. It was a fun app which took 1 day to configure, and I still use it from time to time if I feel like I should be rewarded for a big task.

Campaigned and elected as the chair of the Information Technology Subcommittee, overseeing AIESEC's global IT budget of €350,000. The term was for one year, and included country heads of Brazil, United States, Pakistan, Uganda, Afghanistan, Armenia, Turkey, Cote d'Ivoire, Macedonia, Mauritius, and Benin

Agenda items throughout the year included security, auditing our current IT provider (Tata Consultancy), future IT investments, appointing a professional IT auditor on a 2 year contract basis.

Built one of the first publicly launched Lynk products from the ground up, from prototyping designs and UX research, to GDPR-compliance and ISO 26001 certifications.

During this time, we tripled the EPDD (Engineering, Product, Design, & Data) team, and came up with team principles to ensure good quality practices didn't get sacrified during the scaling up phase.

Expanded the Lynk Knowledge Platform capabilities to provide clients with their very own expert network tool, enabling them to search through their internal employees/members more efficiently, tap into their knowledge and expertise, and engage them through various mediums.

This was a multi-year effort to re-architect the Lynk Platform and provide clients with our proprietary modules that were secure and easy-to-use.
